The government EV charging stations in India were installed for efficient and rapid charging solutions to provide hassle-free functioning for government electric vehicles. The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has installed government EV charging stations in the Gerukamukh project in Assam in the direction of green energy projects. The complex comprises two 60kW DC fast-charging points, a 30kW DC fast charger, and two 10kW AC charging points for the efficient charging of EVs for the employees and the visiting public.
